Daystar Caregroup Strengthens Faith Through Family Visitation
Tugbok, Davao City | Bjezrel Labajo
Tugbok, Davao City — Demonstrating its commitment to nurture spiritual fellowship and Christian love, the Daystar Caregroup conducted a family visitation on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, as part of its ongoing mission to visit, worship, and celebrate God’s goodness with its members.
The caregroup members gathered at the home of Pastor Elmer Arrogante in Tugbok for a meaningful time of worship and encouragement. The visitation was led by Pastor David Bornales, Davao Mission’s Executive Secretary and the caregroup leader, who served as the devotional speaker for the occasion.
In his message, Pastor Bornales centered his reflection on the Sabbath School lesson titled “Think on These Things,” drawing inspiration from Epistle to the Philippians 4:7–9. He emphasized that true inner peace comes from living in harmony with God’s will. Quoting the apostle Paul’s counsel to focus on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report, he reminded the family that a Christ-centered mind leads to a Christ-centered life.
“The peace of God is not merely the absence of problems,” Pastor Bornales shared, “but the presence of God ruling in the heart.” He encouraged everyone present to guard their thoughts and anchor their lives on God’s promises, assuring them that divine peace will sustain every household that faithfully walks with Him.
The worship service included heartfelt prayers and special music offered by the caregroup members, creating an atmosphere of spiritual warmth and unity. The family expressed gratitude for the visit, noting how such gatherings strengthen their faith and sense of belonging within the church community.
Caregroup visitations play a vital role in building strong spiritual relationships among members. Beyond fellowship, these visits provide encouragement, accountability, and an opportunity to minister not only to individuals but to entire families. By coming together in prayer and worship, members reaffirm their shared commitment to support one another in their Christian journey.
The Daystar Caregroup continues to uphold its mission of compassionate ministry, reflecting Christ’s love through personal connection and faithful service.
