6 choirs in Davao Mission received important and necessary tips in choral performances by Mr. Cyril Punay, an Adventist music conductor, yesterday, February 19, 2026.

 

This program was initiated by the music ministries of Davao Mission, which goal is to enhance church choirs for proper and better renditions in serving our churches and our communities with world-class and beautiful music. Mr. Cyril is a Bachelor of Music graduate of Adventist University of the Philippines, and finished his Master of Arts in Music at Andrews University in Michigan, USA.

 

He conducts Sola Gratia, his singing group which won the prestigious Grand Prix last year, 2026 held at Singapore. His prowess and propelled the Adventist name in the music world. The choral groups which received his coaching were Adam’s Center Choir, Primo Deo, Bangkal Ladies Symphony, Advent Chorale, CENDAYO Choir and Lower Kaputian Church Chorale of Samal.

 

They expressed their gratitude to Mr. Punay for such a wonderful learning experience, and are looking forward for his future visits to hone them for world class musical performances.
