A powerful spiritual awakening surged through the Life Hope Center, a ministry facility of Adventist Hospital Davao, as the Oceans of Love Foundation—founded and led by Ms. Dian Hodges of Tennessee, USA—conducted a week-long evangelistic campaign that culminated in the baptism of more than 100 individuals who joyfully accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

From October 26 to 31, the Life Hope Center became a nightly sanctuary of praise, preaching, and prayer. Elder Kenneth Hodges was the speaker with Dr. Jonathan Casio, the president of Adventist Hospital-Davao served as his translator. Dr. Heather Bowen served as the health lecturer, with Conrad sisters Jenny and Lori assisted through their singing. This team of missionaries poured out the gospel message with compassion and conviction, embodying the foundation’s mission to spread Christ’s love through outreach and presence. Each evening drew seekers, families, and hospital staff into a deeper encounter with God’s grace.

The series culminated in a full-day Sabbath celebration on November 1, where the highlight was a moving baptismal ceremony. More than a hundred souls stepped into the waters, publicly declaring their commitment to follow Christ. The atmosphere was filled with joy, reverence, and heartfelt praise as families and friends witnessed lives transformed by the power of the gospel.

The evangelistic effort was made possible through the coordination of Pastor David Bornales, Executive Secretary of the Davao Mission, and Adventist Hospital Davao. Their leadership ensured a seamless partnership between the visiting missionaries and the local Adventist community.
