DAVAO CITY — Davao Mission held the Cluster 1 Officers’ Convention, the first in a series of gatherings to equip and guide local church officers across its territory.
Officers from Cluster 1, covering churches and districts within Davao City proper, received orientation on their roles and shared responsibilities. The gathering opened with a plenary devotional session to set a spiritual tone.

Leaders from Sabbath School, deacons and deaconesses, church clerks, youth, and treasurers participated in discussions and an open forum to raise concerns, seek clarification, and share insights on church administration and ministry.

Following the forum, Pr. Reynald Dela Cruz, president of the Davao Mission, concluded with a call to commitment, emphasizing God’s desire for unity, mission faithfulness, and the visible reflection of Christ’s character. He challenged officers with three questions: Will you preserve unity in the body of Christ? Will you support God’s mission with your time, talents, and resources? Will you allow Christ’s glory to be seen in your life?

The convention highlighted the mission’s focus on strengthening leadership through collaboration and shared responsibility in advancing the gospel.
