More than 500 participants coming from all over clusters 2 and 3 of Davao Mission (DM) attended their orientation at Bangkal Church and Royal Valley SDA Elementary School classrooms on February 1, 2026.

 

The program started with a devotional with Pr. David Bornales, the Executive Secretary, who emphasized about continuous growing in Spirit and in leadership.  Then all department directors oriented the participants with their department programs. The break out session divided the participants into their designated groups- elders, deacons and deaconesses stay inside the church, while treasurers, clerks, superintendents and youth leaders proceeded into their assigned classrooms. After lunch breaks, everyone went back to the church for the plenary session. The proper set up of the question and answer session in the afternoon made the event organized and the learning was fruitful.

 

Pastor Reynald Dela Cruz, DM President, emphasized on our worldwide theme- Grounded in the Bible, Focused on the Mission, in his commitment exhortation. The atmosphere was solemn and promising as the participants responded in a positive note.

 

Clusters 2 has 26 churches and cluster 3 has 61. May God bless our church leaders as they implement what they have learned from our orientation program.
