Care groups of all 8 churches of Samal Island Care Adventist Fellowship (SICAF) enjoyed a 4-day fellowship and spiritual activities on April 1-4, 2026 at Cabadiangan Church compound, Mambago-B, Peñaplata, Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS).

Jubilance was the ambiance of the fellowship as activities such as Child preaching, storytelling, memory verses and other Bible related games were competed by small group representatives. Basketball and volleyball games were also contested as well as parlor games. It was a beauty seeing delegates tenting around the area under the trees, with hammocks hanging around.

Pastor Jaffet Legario of the Communication and Public Affairs Department of Davao Mission graced the occasion with his Sabbath message about their theme “Grounded in the Bible, Focused on the Mission”. His lecture on Care Group Ministries in practice approach inspired all members to “do the mission” in their respective workplaces and communities.

Pastor Antonio Taguibalos, who pastors the said district was happy to report of the passion and energy of his constituents for church and evangelical activities. His wife, ma’am Fe, was also elated of the contribution of the women’s ministries under her leadership to their district activities.
